Gorgeous Backyard Wedding

I love weddings, so it’s awesome when I get to accompany my cake at one 🙂

This was a beautiful backyard wedding for some friends.

The cake was a whiskey Jameson buttercream! So awesome!

yelp

Yelp is great. I use the app on a daily basis. One time…I also made a bunch of desserts for a yelp event.

yelp, yelp, yelp… it’s one of those words that starts to look and sound funny when you keeping using it.

yelp.

yep.

A fairytale wedding

oOne of my dear friends recently got married… and by recently I mean August. I have had a busy couple of weeks, okay? …and a lot of cakes just waiting to be showcased here.

I’m happy to be back with the beautiful desserts I did for a wedding at a gorgeous golf course in Reno, NV.

The spread was beautiful…

The cake was hand-painted and the flowers were handmade.

There were cake pops and cupcakes galore!

I seriously couldn’t get enough of how pretty everything looked. I give the credit to the bride — she has wonderful taste!

I love you like a fat kid loves cake.

No, really…I do! Even though it’s been about a month since I’ve last posted.

This was a beautiful wedding setup at Rancharrah. All funfetti deliciousness…cake, cupcakes, cake pops and cookies!

I love everything about farm tables.

Happy Birthday to Lululemon!

As I reflected on Lululemon’s first birthday in Reno, I thought about how much money I have in yoga pants. And how if it weren’t for work, I would only wear yoga pants. I even snuck some in last week by dressing them up enough to pass for normal pants…I think.

Oh, Lulu. Happy Birthday! I can’t wait for the full store to open in Reno, but for now, the showroom will do.

I was lucky enough to make the cupcakes for Lululemon’s opening a year ago.

I was very excited to be invited back for the first birthday!

Rustic Charm

This style is right up my alley so I was more than happy to put together these treats for a woodland-themed baby shower.

DSC_0886

Treats of all kinds…lemon cake (with candied lemons – my first time doing this and definitely not my last), French vanilla cupcakes (regular and mini), cake pops, and heart-shaped chocolate covered Oreos. Oh, and s’mores for the take home favors. So much sugar, so little time. DSC_0879

Candying some lemons…yum!

^^Handmade bunting — I also can’t wait to do this a lot more. Cute and easy!

Matching cupcakes, of course!

I don’t think you can ever have too many s’mores. I’ve had three in the past three days, in fact. Gimme s’more!!
