It’s Valentine’s Day, and I don’t know about you, but I LOVE all the colors and decorations associated with the day. Pinks, reds and hearts? It can’t get any better. Especially when you combine them with some sweet treats!
I love weddings, so it’s awesome when I get to accompany my cake at one 🙂
This was a beautiful backyard wedding for some friends.
The cake was a whiskey Jameson buttercream! So awesome!
My date and I 🙂
Often times, florists are asked by the bride to provide some extra flowers for the cake. I never know what that’s going to mean for me. Sometimes that means 3 wilted and sad flowers with one piece of greenery to decorate a 4 tier cake. Awesome. It’s going to look fab.
But sometimes…SOMETIMES…it means a generous bucket of the most gorgeous flowers. I die over this deep red. Flowers most definitely are on point.
I loved the vintage feel of this dessert set-up.
I mean really…these flowers..
Yelp is great. I use the app on a daily basis. One time…I also made a bunch of desserts for a yelp event.
yelp, yelp, yelp… it’s one of those words that starts to look and sound funny when you keeping using it.
I am again going to attempt to catch up on all the cakes I’ve done… but do you know how far behind I am? I made this cake for a wedding in September. Only running 6 months behind. Way to go, Stacey!
I say farm-ish because I think this location was a farm? It’s certainly in a farming area of town. There were animals and pastures. But let’s focus on what’s really important here.
This cake and cupcakes were for some great friends who had a delightful wedding Labor Day weekend. I wouldn’t have wanted to be anywhere else but celebrating these two loves!
How stunning is the bride?!
And this might be one of my favorite photos:
So loving 🙂
Here’s the hubs and I before we all really got down on the dance floor.
Wine and I Do’s — what could be better?
