Dessert in the Desert

I had the lovely opportunity to be a part of a gorgeous styled photo shoot for a wedding fit for the desert! I made 5 cute little cacti cupcakes:

That “Bride” table card is hand written… I’d die to have that talent!unnamed-3

The beautiful menu was set atop an aloe leaf….is it called a leaf? An aloe arm? …part of an aloe plant.

And those flowers? They are HANDMADE!! Can you believe it? Prettiest things I’ve seen.

And again… that handwriting = perfection!IMG_6087

Birch Tree Beauty for a Very (Mc) Cool Wedding

One of the most darling couples I know has the last name of McCool. How (Mc) cool is that?

Both of their names start with S and they have been using S’s with a lightning bolt for quite some time now — so of course that’s what we decided to carve into the side of this Birch tree cake!

Psst — the cake was German Chocolate and it was delicious — if I do say so myself!

Happy 4th of July — Only a Month Late

As long as the cake’s on time, it’s all good, right?

I made this cake for a going away party for my boss. And since it was right around July 4th, I knew I needed to come up with something to tie a goodbye with the good old red, white and blue.

So I give you…

Red, White and Really Blue

We’ll miss you
