What will the new parents kiss?
Yeah…so I know… that poem doesn’t really work. I couldn’t find anything already written using Mister or Miss (there’s He or She? Excited to see! etc. etc.) …but no Mister or Miss poem. So I left it at that.
A darling Mister mustache and Miss lips.
This is one of my favorite cakes. Simple, just adorable…and I got to try out a new buttercream technique…petals. I just love it!
Want to know the gender? Watch this amazingly adorable, completely heartwarming video of the parents to be cutting the cake. These two humans are just wonderful people and the love in this video jumps out everywhere!! You’ll be covered in love.
Awww my Alma Mater.
I love every time I get to make something Silver and Blue! Most recently, it has been cake pops.
You want to know how to feel old? Make some cake pops for someone turning 18 and then deliver them to the dorms. HOLY COW. I might only be 10 years older than these kids (only?! yikes) but I felt lost and entirely too old to be setting foot in that place. Oh what a decade will do.
These were for a member of the football team…a linebacker…eating these little cake pops from him mom…I love it!!
And these were for a sweet girl named Katy turning 18:
I thought I’d reminisce about the past UNR stuff I’ve made! Go Pack!
Gender reveals have got to be my favorite thing to do! Not only do I get to know a huge secret before most of the world, I get to play a really fun part of a great day for expecting parents.
Here’s a buttercream beauty with hand-placed sprinkles…lots and lots of hand-placed sprinkles. Still finding pink and blue sprinkles in the kitchen.
There’s blue frosting in that cake…just like these cute matching cupcakes:
Behind the scenes:
It was a beautiful October day for this wedding, featuring a rustic cake with pretty green and purple flowers:
A happy cake for a wonderful Bachelorette! It’s handpainted to match the beautiful invites that went out for her wedding in Mexico! Viva la cake! Or…something like that…
I am more and more impressed with every wedding that I make a cake for…brides are amazing and create gorgeous fairytale scenes!
This August wedding at a private estate in Graeagle is one of my favorite weddings I’ve seen. Everything is just perfect! Nothing beats a bride with impeccable taste. And the weather? The pictures could not be any prettier (Thanks to Handlebar Studios: http://handlebarstudios.com/)
The prettiest flowers for this cake:
A dessert bar? Yes, please.
I can not get enough of the colors in this wedding.
